Haunted Halloween Harvest at Wilridge Winery
Hey gang! We are going to have the last big day of harvest 2009 at Wilridge on this Sunday, November 1. We know it's the day after Halloween, so we are going to get started a little later in the morning than we usually do. We could use a full crew by 10:00 a.m. to help us press the first red grapes from our new estate vineyard. Bring your Halloween costume and a pair of shorts and we will get pictures of you stomping in the tank! We are sticking with our plan to stomp all the Wilridge wines by foot again this year. Don't miss your chance!
Also, we could use a couple of people to help us get set up on Saturday (Halloween) afternoon. Scary! We will start around 12:30 on Saturday and will finish setting up in plenty of time for trick or treating.
We look forward to seeing you this weekend, in costume or not.
A note on the harvest schedule: The exact dates of harvest depend on Mother Nature. We don't want to work on Halloween weekend, but we can't change when the grapes are ready. This also explains why we can't give you more advance notice of harvest work parties.
